That is a nice design but we do not have this template to offer you since we did not make it…

If you owned this template and wanted us to configure it against our database installs I would think it would work, however since we have not configured this template and normal configuring of a template can take hours if not days and we would not be willing to do that for free.

[No the old calendar is not part of this new site it was a nice calendar but had not functionality to handle raid signups and everyone kept asking for that ability so this new component allows guild members to join the actual raids without having to be re-directed to a forum where they need to signup…. Plus registered members of your guild can post their own raids…]

6. At what point do you select your template, I haven't seen it prior to placing my order ? How long from sign up before I can start work on site ? Can you give me an idea based both on a NEW domain and also transferring my existing domain ? [Once your are a member of our site you submit your guild info and select the template at that time. Domain name propagation can take about 48 hours maybe less so if you transfer your name to us or get a new name it should be about the same.

It probably is best to just get a new name and leave your old site intact, that way you can move posts to the new site once it is ready and you wont lose important things.

It can take from 2 - 7 business days to get your new site set-up during that time we encourage you watch our videos so you can learn about your new site, if you are already experienced with Joomla you will find it very easy to modify your site, if you are new to Joomla we recommend you download and print there manual located at this link:

1. Can the header banner be changed to a desired picture ? As a Night Elf guild I wouldn’t want a Drenaii on the header of our site. [yes you are able to make a header and use that on your site, you do not have to use our designs in your header if you do not want.]

2. Can the colour scheme of the site be changed to match the guild colours ? [Our templates are CSS driven and for the most part you are NOT able to change the main template colours]

3. Who has access rights to change content ? Is it just the administrator or can I assign rights to officers and members ? [Our newest template has the ability for members to add their own raids if they wish]

[Yes the Clan Members component supports full profiles that can be updated by your members then give awards through the same component you can even make your own award images and use those instead of the ones that come with it.]

5. I have looked at Clan Membership etc, but is there any area where members can add additional background information about their characters. Again as a RP guild a lot of our members have come up with background stories that should be able to appear on their profile.

7. Does the Guild Bank have any facility to show Bank Balance of monetary funds (Gold, Silver, Copper) ?[Yes Guild Banker can show money we just decided not to show that in our demonstration]

8. Are there any Private areas on the site, where members would have to log in first to access, but general public cannot see ? (Allows the posting of private guild messages)[Yes our forums come set-up with members only areas as far as setting content for view only by members it is very easy all you have to do is set an item to special level not public.

9. Can I as administrator dictate the content and layout of the front page ? [yes]

10. Is there an area where content can be stored for members to download and can members download from the site ?[depending on what you are allowing people to DL it may be fine or it may not be, example if you purchase a 250MB site from us and try to load a 300MB movie it will not work.. for obvious reasons. If you upload a very small file and link it the people can download it, we recommend using free servers for hosting large files anyways as they can cause your bandwidth to be to high and if your site exceeds your bandwidth early in a given month your site will become inaccessible for the remainder of the month. For that reason we recommend putting your movies at places like Utube or google.

11. Can the site support sound clips ?[Again we recommend hot linking sound files as they can cause your bandwidth to skyrocket]

12. Does the template support Paypal contributions made by members ?[yes]

13. Are modules like Newest Members and Polls customisable by the administrator?[you are able to make as many polls as you like the fields are totally customizable. The newest members module has some customizable features but for the most part it is the way you see it.]

14. Are other menus such as Main, Extra, and Resources etc. customisable? [Yes fully you can remove any links you want and add new ones as needed]

15. We already have a site and a domain name (www.telmithrim.net) hosted elsewhere. Can it be transferred to your servers and how ?[yes you can use your existing name but none of your existing content can be moved to our servers until we have fully set-up your new site, after that you are able to paste information from your old site into your new site, assuming you have saved important information to your hard drive prior to us setting up your new site. Remember we will not be responsible for moving any of your files or content.]

16. Can you register without committing to a website package in order to view tutorials? If you could, a lot of these questions could be avoided. [I am sorry to say that we do not allow non-members to view our tutorials.]

I am trying to set up a new website for our guild after the last GM left... we are based on aerie peak on the euopean servers... Is your package suitable for us to use? Will it link to the wow europe site?

When you order one of our templates you can request to send us your header instead of the one we make. All you need to do is make it the correct size and we will add this to your site for you.

What about customized headers? Yah, your designs/templates are pretty cool, but what about editing themes via css?

Yes our sites can use features like WEBDKP, infact here is a sample of WEBDKP inside of our sites. http://easysitebuilder.ca/daniel/index.php?option=com_wrapper&amp;Itemid=53

Here is how it works, since those programs are stand alone they have to be setup and working from a server anywhere in the world. Then all you do is create a link or a wrapper and set the location to the feature you want to display. In the WEBDKP version in our demo all we did was set the wrapper link to the WEBDKP location we wanted to display. It takes only a couple of minutes to create a link like this.

As far as programs like WOW Roster and the other you mention you could do the exact same thing with them, either link to a popup window from the menu or use the Wrapper feature and make it look like our WEBDKP demo does. The best part is the choice is yours you can do whatever you like better.
