We allow you to have two sites live to move the content over… If it take a few days to a week or so its no problem at all…. Then once you have moved everything we will re-name it to the real URL and this is included in the cost already…

If I upgrade, and my subscription for my old site gets canceled, will my old site still be fully accessible during the setup of the new site and the time that we will get to copy data from the old site to the new site?

No this is normal when you upgrade, we cancel the old subscription and we will set-up the new site but it is not instant and takes 2 –3 business days for the new site to be set-up…

ok i have paid for the upgrade and i received a e-mail to say a subscription has been cancelled is this my old subscription cancelled, or is there something wrong with the new subscirption for next generation site?

Thank for your inquiry about our new Next Generation websites... Here is the process needed for upgrading to one of these sites, and we will assume you are not a 1000MB customer already.

1) You need to Upgrade your subscription to the 1000MB plan, we will provide a partial credit back (if any) for the unused portion of your current subscription less the month you are in.

2) Because you are upgrading the set-up fee is included with these new 6 month or 1 year plans, however if you are a month to month customer the set-up fee is $20.00.

3) The New website will get set up as a sub domain to facilitate the copying of data from the old website to the new one.

4) Once all the data is copied over that you want you can put in for a domain name change and the website is switched from the sub domain to the main domain.

I can see that i allready from today, can upgrade my subscribtion to the new next generation 1000 mb template and i have registered a domain name for the new site and wanted to know how to let you know that when i upgrade it so i can keep my current site and tranfer content as you wrote in the last post.

We officially launched the New Next Generation Guild Websites late yesterday May 28, 2009 a few days early... though it will take some time for us to integrate it fully into our site we are working very hard to get everything in place as fast as possible… However considering the size of this update it will take some time yet for everything to be added...

The Beta testing went very well and we wanted to get this live for everyone as fast as possible… Also it will take a full site wipe for the new site to be set-up, we are never happy that it is required however to manually install all the new features would take weeks so obviously it is not cost effective to do that.

To make upgrading to this template a little easier we can set-up the new site on a separate URL from your live site allowing you to transfer content from one site to the other easily and then when you are ready we can rename the new site for you and the old site will go away and the new one will be in its place.

Look for some new videos to be added to our site in the next week or so as they are prepared we will add them. Also we will be making videos for your members so they can learn about the new features and how to use them.

Have you already selected your beta teams? I haven't heard anything yet on my registration request, so I wanted to check.

Sweet! Can't wait to use all these new features, I really wanted to get accepted into the BETA but I guess you guys were all full by the time I saw the announcement.

Do we know yet what the procedure will be to upgrade to the new stuff? Will it require an entire website wipe like some other major upgrades? Will there be an additional cost?
