Hi!

Very nice-looking template! The large amount of white space is perhaps not so dramatic as the Lich King template currently in use by our guild, but is is open and clear and from a typological viewpoint very correct. Considering all the large and small functions that share space on any given page, the less cluttered and obscured each area is, the easier it will be for users to get the hang of using the site. I am guessing that the background color can be changed from the back end by those who wish to do so.

In other words, I approve of having fancy art at the top and bottom of the page and concentrating on functionality and layout in the areas in between.

I am using Safari v. 3.2.1 as browser, and in it I don't see any turned down page corner.

I do like the looks of the calendar. Being able to switch views from day to week to month is a real plus. What I would very much like to see is a simple, integrated way to set up guild events, sign up for guild events and accept for guild events. The more of this that can be handled by authorized members, i.e., admin, author, etc., from the front end, better and more effective will be the site and the day-to-day administration of the site.

We are looking forward to the beta website coming out that is mentioned in the member's login page. We signed up for it and are curious when you will announce who is going to be on the beta team. Hope we are included! With having different templates and such, and still able to keep our original website as it is, we would be quite happy testing out as many designs and templates as you want. This is an excellent template! Aside from what was already mentioned, I haven't seen any glaring issues.

This new template looks FANTASTIC. I'm a brand new subscriber to wowguilds and can't wait to see what my new guild page will look like...at least until THIS template becomes available.

Love the work you have done on this template! I would expect the page peel to be a big hit. With built in calander events we can simplify the sites usability.

With the support you provide and the work you have done I can say we would be glad to be a part of the beta team.

In viewing the existing page, the background (or aspect ratio/ scaling of the page) seems to be set for 1024X768, works well at 1280X1024, but doesnt scale to higher resolutions.

Hi,

The template looks great. I really like the two columns on the right of the body of the page that have site modules in them. Also the drop down then slide right menus off topmenu are great.

I am seeing some errors on the page when on 1920x1280 resolution, the background image isn't wide enough and some odd white bars show on the left and right of the screen because the page's background is white, so the white pokes through.

Either the image mmorpg.clansandguilds.ca/templates/ja_quillaja/images/blue/page_background.jpg needs to be wider (it is only 1800 pixels wide), or the page background needs to be #030814, which seems to be the edge color of the background image and should fix the problem.

Also in the top left hand side of the screen is some large ~24 point text that says &quot;&amp; Hosting&quot; and it comes from the DIV called ja-headerwrap. It displays even if in Firefox 2.0.0.9 or Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11. There must be some positioning problem with it.

The page peel features doesn't work in Firefox, looks super in Internet Explorer!

I would be more than happy to test this template on my site if you want.

Will there be any options to add some of these features to any existing templates? I like the features, but like the BC template layout also. Why not allow a few of these as add on features to existing templates? Like the new armory roster view which I would love to add and the calendar for organizing events.

Having the calender work with raid/instance sign up would be really really cool. I have wanted a calender like that, but I just don't have the time to spend figuring things out, but if you guys could post a video showing how to combine the calender with raid/instance run sign ups it would be a huge help. Glad to hear you like this new template… we were beginning to wonder if anyone liked it or not, since not many have posted about it so far.

The cool page peel at the top right when we originally made this template was set to worldofwarcrat.com but we changed it for our demo purposes… maybe we should change it back.

One of the areas we are not 100% happy with is the calendar it still does not have the functionality for people to sign up for unless we use another component Attend Raids. “Attend Raids” is one of the best Joomla Raid components we have seen to date, it is fully stand alone but can work with the calendar. The only thing is you need to actually add the event into both components to get the raid sign ups to work in conjunction with the calendar…

We will make a new video for this and show people how to use each component and if they want turn one of them off.

The new module is very attractive. I love the page turned down in the upper right hand corner...its sneaky a great thing would be to link that to the world of warcraft webpage. Or at least have a demo teaching people how to.

I love the calendar for this template. I have the BC Template on our site and I really appreciate the design for the BC Events but wish it was more of a calendar style.

Another thing I appreciate with this template is that it is yet another layout style to choose from without the hassle of having to do the back-end coding. You guys need to know that my 250 person Guild and our 700 person alliance TOTALLY appreciate all of your hard work and the effort you have made to give Guilds the 100% best choice for Guild/Alliance Hosting out there!

When this template comes out.....Knights Templar wants to be one of the first Guilds hosting it!
